by operations October 10, 2020 No Comments

In honoring Indigenous Peoples Day, and in recognizing the debt that we still owe as UCSB employees and administrators to the Chumash nation, on whose lands our institution stands, we will open our series this coming Monday October 12, at 7 PM with a webinar presentation of “A new perspective on UCSB’s debt and responsibilities to the local population of Native Americans” by Mia Lopez (Cultural Representative, Coastal Band, Chumash Nation) and Amrah Salomòn (Assistant Professor of English, UCSB)
