“UCSB Faculty Association Asks for Transparency & Flexibility with Return to In-Person Learning.” This 27 minute report by KCSB-FM Internal News Director Ashley Rusch, which aired on January 31, 2022, is based on and includes clips from an extended interview with SBFA Board members Professors Ben Olguin, Eileen Boris and Harold Marcuse. Representing our membership, we spoke about the wide spectrum of situations faced by both instructors and students, and explained the suggestions on how the return to in-person teaching could be better managed, as outlined in our January 25 letter to UCSB Covid policymakers.
